The UNAS Central Library ranks 16th in Peru in the 2025 edition of the LATAM University Libraries Ranking, an independent study that each year evaluates 3,958 university libraries in 43 countries of Latin America. At the Latin American level we hold position 260.

The result places us as the country's second national university — only behind the National University of San Marcos — and the first in the Peruvian Amazon, ahead of institutions such as the National University of Engineering (18th), the National University of San Antonio Abad of Cusco (20th) and the National Agrarian University La Molina (39th).

The ranking automatically analyzes the presence of 90 indicators on the website of each library: online services, catalogs, digital resources, institutional information and more. Our progress reflects the team's sustained work: from 832nd in LATAM in 2021 we jumped to 152nd in 2022, and have remained among the country's top positions ever since.

The Central Library reaffirms its commitment to keep improving: the new website, the digital card, the BIBLIOTECA-WIFI network, the updated online catalog and the Editorial Fund portal are part of that path.
